According to Axios, Google is quietly building a Job Application Tracking Platform. The service lets employers post job listings, then accept and manage applications. Google Hire is not yet fully open to public, it seems either in a Beta version for testing or only allows associated accounts to login. If you visit the site, you cannot register for an account yet. Technology companies that already use or test the new Google Hire include Poynt, SingleHop, DramaFever, Medisas, and CoreOS.
The Google Hire looks a big competition in future to rival other job application services such as LinkedIn or Seek. It remains to be seen how Google Hire will work. Will it like how we search information by typing in the google search, and with google hire, we type in the required skill sets, and it returns potential candidates? Let’s see.
