Come across this TED talk which was published some years ago but still interesting enough to engage me from start to the end. The talk is about personal robots and how they can be useful for people. There are already some use cases - an assistant robot could help daily tasks at home, save you enormous time doing boring tasks; a robot can play with children; a robot can have a conversation and keep you company, and more.
